During his military career, Miguel was awarded two Purple Hearts, two Bronze Medals, and numerous other honors, including medals and badges, for his valor and commitment to his country.
Miguel was the proud father of nine children, grandfather to 21 grandchildren, great-grandfather to 46, and great-great-grandfather to seven. His family remembers him as a strong pillar of love, sacrifice, and resilience.
