Harrisburg, PA—Nathan D. Schreffler, a beloved resident of Harrisburg, passed away on July 24, 2024, at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center. He was 45 years old. Nathan was known for his dedication to his family, his work as a landscaper with Bailey Landscape Maintenance, and his active involvement in community and church activities.
Born on August 31, 1978, in Harrisburg, Nathan was the son of the late Aleta A. and David E. Schreffler. He spent much of his free time enjoying life’s simple pleasures, such as playing video games with his children, camping, visiting the beach, and spending time with his grandmother.
Nathan is survived by his wife, Karen Schreffler, and their two children, Emmett and Keira Schreffler. His passing has left a significant void in their lives, and the community is rallying to support them during this difficult time.
A memorial fund has been established by Georgia Rohrer on behalf of Karen Schreffler, with the goal of raising $5,000 to support the education of Nathan’s children. As of now, $1,050 has been raised through the generosity of two donors, including an anonymous donation of $1,000.
The community is encouraged to contribute to this cause in memory of Nathan, to help secure a bright future for his children, Keira and Emmett.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Schreffler family during this time of profound loss.
