Pam Score, a beloved member of the Papillion, NE community, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 25th, following an acute infection. Pam was 61 years old. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah, and her son, Alan. The community mourns her passing and reflects on her unwavering dedication to animal rescue and welfare.
Pam was a longtime volunteer and worker at the Town and Country Humane Society, where she was known for her selfless contributions of both time and resources, even when her own circumstances were challenging. Pam’s compassion for animals was unparalleled—she adopted many over the years and found great joy in caring for them. Her kindness, humor, and reliability made her a cherished figure within the community, although she was also known to have a playful, "spicy" side that endeared her to her friends. Her love for animals was evident in everything she did, and those who knew her find comfort in imagining her now pain-free, surrounded by the pets she adored.
In honor of Pam’s lasting legacy, a fundraiser has been created by Tisa McKim to assist with final expenses and funeral services. Tisa has organized the fundraiser to ensure Pam’s family is supported during this difficult time. Already, donations have begun, with an early contribution of $100 from Tisa herself. The community is encouraged to contribute to help Pam’s family in their time of need.
Pam’s absence will be deeply felt, but her memory will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched—both human and animal. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Sarah, Alan, and all who were close to Pam during this challenging time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Pam Score’s family. May she rest in peace, and may her family find solace and strength in the love and support from the community.
