Patrick Enright, Orchard Park, NY— Patrick Enright passed away on Tuesday morning, November 12th, after a rapid decline in health. He had been hospitalized at Buffalo General Hospital due to a severe infection, and despite the dedicated efforts of his medical team in the ICU, Patrick passed away peacefully.
Patrick was the beloved father of six children—William, Caitlin, Patrick Jr., Matthew, Jameson, and Declan—and the cherished husband of his wife, Christen. Known for his immense heart and generosity, Patrick was a champion of the underdog, always ready to lend a kind, and often humorous, word. He was deeply committed to his family and had a passion for ensuring that everyone around him felt welcomed, whether it was a new student or a teammate.
As the head of the household and sole breadwinner, Patrick’s passing has left his family facing not only profound grief but also significant financial burdens. A fundraiser has been set up by Sally Miranda to assist with medical expenses and the family’s financial needs. So far, $220 has been raised through donations from friends and family, including contributions from Kathleen O’Connor Esack, Katie and Bill Fitzpatrick, Michelle Kornacki, and Tracy Monteleone.
The Enright family is deeply grateful for the support during this incredibly difficult time. The love Patrick shared with those around him will always be remembered, and his family will hold onto the legacy of his kindness and generosity.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Patrick’s family as they navigate through this heartbreaking loss.
