Patrick Stephen Lowery, a cherished member of the Spring Hill community, passed away recently after facing unexpected complications following a heart surgery. Known for his infectious smile and warm embraces, Patrick touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His passing has left a deep sense of loss among his family and friends.
Patrick initially underwent open-heart surgery at Saint Thomas a few weeks ago and appeared to be on the path to recovery. However, his condition worsened when his kidneys became infected, leading to sepsis. Despite undergoing two additional surgeries and weeks of sedation, his body could no longer withstand the strain. His family, including his wife of 35 years, Nancy Lowery, was by his side as he passed away peacefully.
A fundraiser has been organized by Hayley Lowery to support the family during this difficult time. The medical bills, stemming from Patrick’s month-long stay in the ICU and funeral costs, have placed a significant financial burden on his loved ones. So far, $4,400 has been raised out of a $20,000 goal, with donations coming from 18 generous individuals. The top donation of $1,000 was given by Brooke Gypson, with the first donation coming from Seth Teegarden.
Patrick’s family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support, and they kindly request continued prayers for strength and comfort as they navigate this profound loss.
We offer our deepest sympathies to the Lowery family during this time. May Patrick’s soul rest in peace, and may his family find solace in the memories and love he left behind.
