Paul Rinderer, Affton, MO— The Affton community is mourning the loss of Paul Rinderer, who passed away on August 26, 2024, after enduring a challenging four-month battle following a stroke. Paul was a beloved husband and primary caregiver to his wife, Sandie Rinderer, who is severely handicapped and relies heavily on assistance for her daily needs.
The news of Paul’s passing has brought significant sorrow, especially for Sandie, who now faces not only the emotional burden of losing her husband but also the financial strain that comes with it. With limited income from Social Security and a 13% mortgage to manage, Sandie is in urgent need of support to cover funeral and medical expenses, as well as to sustain her living costs.
To help alleviate some of these burdens, Fran Ritzert has organized a fundraiser aimed at raising $10,000. So far, the campaign has raised $270 through the kindness of four donors, including generous contributions from anonymous donors, Rob Menley, Tabatha Phillips, and Cheryl Hammond. These early donations are a testament to the community’s compassion and willingness to support Sandie during this difficult time.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Seven Holy Founders in Affton, MO, on August 29, 2024, followed by a graveside service at Mt. Hope Cemetery, located at 1215 Lemay Ferry Road, Lemay. The family invites all who knew Paul to join them in remembering his life and offering their support to Sandie.
The Rinderer family is deeply touched by the outpouring of love and support from friends, neighbors, and the broader community. Every contribution, whether financial or emotional, helps bring comfort to Sandie as she navigates life without her devoted husband.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Paul Rinderer. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sandie Rinderer and the entire family during this incredibly difficult time.
