Paula Johnstone, Cambridge, ON— Paula Johnstone passed away peacefully on December 11th, 2024, following a short but courageous battle with cancer and long-term health struggles. Her loss has left her family devastated, as she was a constant source of support and love for them.
Paula spent her final days under the compassionate care of Cambridge Memorial, where her family is forever grateful for the attention and comfort she received. Her children, Nicky Myke, Josh Corrigan, and Aaron (Steve), as well as her grandchildren, Hazelyn and Ryleigh, now face the challenge of saying their goodbyes.
To honor Paula’s memory and provide the funeral she deserves, her family has started a fundraiser. The funds raised will help with the funeral and related expenses, as they plan to travel from the Yukon to Cambridge/Hamilton to lay her to rest.
The community has already shown tremendous support, with several donations coming through. Kristy Andersen contributed $100, Emele Valentine-Furlong also donated $100, and Loretta Simard gave $25. The family deeply appreciates these generous contributions and is grateful for the love and support they have received during this difficult time.
The love Paula shared with everyone she knew will live on through the cherished memories of her family and friends. In their time of sorrow, they find comfort in knowing how much Paula cared for others.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Paula Johnstone’s family, and we wish them strength and peace as they navigate this heart-wrenching loss.
