Pauline Marcinkiewicz passed away unexpectedly on October 7, 2024, leaving her family and friends in deep grief. Pauline, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and parishioner, was known for her selflessness and warmth. In her later years, she devoted much of her time to caring for her husband, Jerry, who is battling dementia. Pauline’s passing has left an emotional void in the hearts of those who knew her.
Her daughter, Paula Marcinkiewicz Stewart, expressed her devastation in a Facebook post, sharing that a piece of her heart went with her mother to heaven. Paula, while managing her grief, is facing the overwhelming responsibilities of making funeral arrangements, caring for Jerry, and working full-time. She has created a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the funeral expenses and to honor Pauline’s memory with a memorial at All Saints Parish Columbarium.
Visitation services for Pauline will be held on Friday, November 1 at Hutchins-Stygar Funeral Home in St. Charles, MO, followed by a Funeral Mass at All Saints Catholic Church on Saturday, November 2. Many in the community have offered their condolences and prayers for Pauline’s family, including:
- Joan Dallmann: “I’m so very sorry for your loss. Prayers for you and your family as you navigate through these changes.”
- Jan Marie: “So sorry Paula….Prayers for you and the entire family as you deal with so much….God Bless.”
- Christy Smith: “I’m so sorry for your loss, Paula. Praying for you and your family.”
- Kurt Kerchner: “I’m very sorry for your loss, Paula. Sending prayers to you and your family.”
Several donations have already been made to help the family, including contributions from Elizabeth McCrary, Paula Riefle, and Kelly Marcinkiewicz.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Pauline’s family during this difficult time. May they find peace and comfort in the cherished memories of their time with her.
