Pedro, who had only been in the United States for nearly three years, came here with the hopes of providing for his family in Guatemala. Known for his hardworking nature, Pedro was also passionate about sports, particularly soccer and basketball.
In a time of great loss, his family is now seeking assistance to cover funeral expenses and to send Pedro back to his loved ones in Guatemala. A fundraiser has been established by Lourdez Mateo, with the goal of helping the family with the financial burdens during this difficult time.
