Pete Bowne, Medford, OR— Pete Bowne passed away early on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, after battling cirrhosis of the liver and liver cancer. He was 62 years old. His unexpected passing has left a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
Pete was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver on September 25, 2024, and shortly after received the additional devastating news that he had liver cancer. Due to the rapid progression of his condition, there was little time for treatment before his passing. His family is deeply grateful for the medical staff at Rogue Regional Medical Center for their efforts in trying to save his life.
A fundraiser has been organized by his stepdaughter, Ashli Glover, to help cover medical expenses, bills, and funeral arrangements, including cremation costs. As of now, $215 has been raised through the kindness of donors such as Pamela Spillett, Rachel Jennings, and Zakry Malone.
On Facebook, many have shared their heartfelt messages of support, including Ashli Glover, who wrote, "Our family is incredibly grateful for any contribution, whether it’s a donation, sharing this page, or offering words of comfort and prayer." Lindsey Spillett expressed, "So sorry ash," and Susan Healey Bosman also shared her condolences.
Pete’s family remembers him as an incredible man, father, papa, and friend. His legacy will live on in the memories of those who loved him.
We are deeply saddened to learn of Pete Bowne’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
