Pyotr Gavrilov, a cherished member of the Northwest Arkansas community, has passed away, leaving his family, friends, and colleagues mourning his loss. Born in Siberia, Russia, Pyotr moved to the United States with his family in 1990. He built his life across California and Arkansas, where his contributions and kindness touched many lives.
For over a decade, Pyotr worked in California, specializing in sprinkler systems alongside his brother Sasha. Later, he applied his technical skill to working with elevators, becoming known for his meticulous work ethic and commitment to quality service. In 2017, Pyotr joined Sasha in Northwest Arkansas, where they worked side-by-side at Dunk Fire Equipment and State Systems. His dedication, thoroughness, and sincere approach left an enduring impact on those he served and those who had the privilege to work with him.
Pyotr faced significant health challenges throughout his life, with heart complications he managed with resilience. This past year was particularly challenging, and he moved in with his brother Sasha, who provided unwavering support and care during his final months.
Survived by his mother, two brothers, a sister, and his nieces and nephews, Pyotr’s passing is deeply felt by his family and the community. A fundraiser has been organized by Ryan Draper to assist with the funeral expenses, aiming to raise $5,000 to $7,000. The support has already begun, with donations from community members, including Eric Cotton, Samuel Catanzaro, Nancy Miller, and Makita White.
Pyotr’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 29th, in Northwest Arkansas, where family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and memory. His legacy of kindness, integrity, and hard work will continue to inspire those who knew him.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Pyotr’s family. May his memory bring them comfort and peace during this difficult time.
