Born on July 4, 1947, to Victor Ramirez and Sofia Giron Gonzalez, Rafael was originally from Ayotlan Jal. Mexico. He was the fourth child among ten siblings: Maria de Socorro Ramirez Giron, Maria del Refugio Ramirez Giron, Maria de Jesus Ramirez Giron, Soledad Ramirez Giron, Francisco Ramirez Giron, Manuel Ramirez Giron, Maria de los Angeles Ramirez Giron, Roberto Ramirez Giron, and Jose Ramirez Giron.
In 1976, Rafael married Maria De La Luz Serratos Ramirez. Together, they had four children: Armando, Lorena, Edgar, and Ivan. Rafael is also survived by eight grandchildren (Armando Ramirez, Liliana Leon Ramirez, Larisa Leon Ramirez, Sebastian Ramirez, Camila Martinez Ramirez, Sophia Ramirez, Xitlali Ramirez, and Xavier Ivan Ramirez) and one great-grandson, Andres Ramirez.
Rafael was a hardworking man who, along with his wife, dedicated himself to working in a plant nursery to provide for their family. He deeply cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. Rafael had a profound love for music and could often be found enjoying his favorite tunes on the radio. Additionally, he took great pleasure in gardening, where he grew cucumbers, chili peppers, and tomatoes.
The community has shown an outpouring of support during this difficult time. Ivan Ramirez has organized a fundraiser to help cover the funeral and burial expenses. As of now, the goal is set at $12,000, and the family is grateful for any contributions and prayers.
