Known as Randy, he was a man of great kindness and generosity. Despite his own struggles, Randy was always there to support those around him, offering food, shelter, and financial help whenever needed. His resilience in the face of diabetes, a battle he fought for several years, was a testament to his strength and unwavering commitment to his loved ones. Randy’s dedication as a provider for his common-law wife, Laura Ulrich, and their family was evident in his every action. He carried heavy groceries, fixed the roof, and did whatever was necessary to ensure his family was taken care of, even when he was in pain.
Randy leaves behind his partner of 33 years, Laura Ulrich, their children Wayne Starz Jr., Jordan A Holten, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Joshua Starz, his niece, Aubry "Pinky" Murden, and his parents, Harrold Newbern Sr. and Joann Williams.
