Randall Yaunke, Milwaukee, WI— Randall Yaunke passed away on November 13th, 2024, after a courageous battle with stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma. His passing has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew him, especially his family. Randall, known for his humor, strength, and generosity, touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.
Throughout his illness, Randall remained strong and maintained his infectious sense of humor. Even in his final days, he continued to bring smiles to those around him, including his hospice nurse and social worker, whom he affectionately called "The Sea Hags." His ability to care for others, despite his own suffering, was a testament to his character.
Randall’s granddaughter, Emily Yaunke, has started a fundraiser to assist with cremation costs, as the family was on a fixed income. Emily, who had been Randall’s caregiver throughout his illness, shared how her grandfather played a pivotal role in her life, even stepping in as a father figure when she needed guidance. Randall had previously supported her career as a CNA, and now she is returning that care by supporting her grandmother during this difficult time.
A total of $92 has been raised so far, thanks to the generosity of donors like Chance Stephens, Amy Gogin, and Kent Kuss.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the Yaunke family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss.
