Renee Riddle Johnson, Arlington, TX—Renee Riddle Johnson passed away recently, leaving her family and friends in deep mourning. Known for her warm personality and the many stories she shared, Renee was a beloved figure in her community. She had the unique gift of making everyone around her feel welcome and entertained, and her presence will be greatly missed.

Renee passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her daughter and grandchildren. After enjoying dinner, she went to sleep and remained peacefully asleep for two days before passing quietly in her home. Renee’s daughter, who has cared for her for many years, now faces the difficult responsibility of organizing her funeral without the financial means to do so. With no life insurance in place, the burden of the final expenses has fallen on her daughter, a single mother of four children.

Mary Elkins, a close family friend, has organized a fundraiser to assist with the funeral costs. So far, several donors have contributed, including Tasha Soward, Ellen Miller, Nicky Trammel, and Mary Elkins herself. Donations have reached a total of $260, with more support needed to cover the remaining expenses.

The funeral service for Renee will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, at Ben F. Brown Funeral Home in Irving, TX, followed by a graveside service at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, also in Irving.
