His daughter, Destiny Martin, has been left with the heavy task of arranging his funeral in light of his critical condition and subsequent passing.
Richard battled stage 4 prostate cancer for about a year. Despite his fight, his condition worsened, leading to his hospitalization in the ICU on life support for about a week and a half before his passing. Richard did not have a life insurance policy, creating a financial burden for his family during this difficult time.
Destiny Martin has set up a fundraiser to assist with the funeral expenses. So far, $400 has been raised out of a $15,000 goal, with contributions from kind donors like Lonzo Sasso, Lionel Williams, Arthur Spencer, and Kirk Baptiste.
