Robert Benjamin Adams, Saint Francisville, LA— Robert Benjamin Adams, known affectionately as Ben, passed away on December 16th, 2024, at the age of 44. His sudden departure has left his family and friends in deep sorrow. A native of Saint Francisville, Ben was born on February 16th, 1980, and was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.
Ben was known for his vibrant personality and his love of life. A proud graduate of West Feliciana High School, where he was involved in baseball, he went on to serve eight years in the United States Marine Corps. His service and commitment to his country shaped his later career as a project estimator, where he was recognized for his professionalism and work ethic, particularly in his role at Repcon.
He leaves behind his children: Ashton Leigh Adams, Mason Adams, and Avery Harper Adams, as well as his granddaughter. His family is deeply grieving his loss, and in their time of sorrow, they are reaching out for community support to help with funeral and family expenses.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 26th, from 10 – 11 a.m. at Rabenhorst Funeral Home. A funeral Mass to honor Ben’s life will take place on Friday, December 27th, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Saint Francisville. Interment will follow at OLMC Cemetery, with a reception afterward at The Francis.
The family has expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of support and prayers during this difficult time. Donations to assist with funeral expenses and to support Ben’s children in the days ahead are being collected through a fundraiser organized by Gavin Landry.
