Robert Pierret, Ventura, CA—Robert Pierret passed away tragically on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Robert, a cherished friend and dedicated healthcare professional, was killed in a biking accident on his way home from St. John’s Hospital Camarillo.
Robert was known for his kindness and honesty, deeply caring for his patients and colleagues. He recently retired from his full-time role at Cabrillo Cardiology to teach Nuclear Medicine at Moorpark College but continued to work weekends at the hospital, a place he had dedicated over 25 years of service. Additionally, Robert had just graduated with a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Concordia University.
The sudden and tragic loss of Robert has left his wife, Michelle, and their family in profound grief. To support them during this difficult time, Melissa Nahrstedt has organized a fundraiser. As of now, $325 has been raised towards a $1,000 goal, with contributions from Rebeka Medina ($50), Melissa Nahrstedt ($150), Michele Hom ($25), and Ryan Douglas ($100).
Services to honor Robert’s life will be held next week at Grace Lutheran Church in Ventura. His passing is a stark reminder of the importance of cherishing our loved ones every day. Robert will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. In his own words, "Thanks a bunch."
