Robert "Rob" William Hensley Sr., born December 13, 1964, in Springfield, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at his home in September 2024. A Shawnee High School alumni, Rob was a hardworking and dedicated man, known for his 30-year career as a sprinkler system foreman with Local 669. His passion and commitment to his craft led him to start his own business, A.S.A.P General Contractors, where he made countless friends and loyal customers.
Rob’s love for sports, especially Ohio State and the Cincinnati Bengals, was evident every game day when he proudly wore his jerseys, sharing his enthusiasm with those around him.
He leaves behind his mother, Ann Hensley, his brothers Ryan and Morgan, and his sister Louri. Rob’s three children, Billy, Kayleigh, and Heather, along with his eight grandchildren—Lillian, Audrey, Addie, Sebastian, Juniper, Brantley, Garrett, and Casen—will forever hold his memory close.
A fundraiser has been organized by Rob’s daughter, Kayleigh Cochran, to support the family during this difficult time. Donations can be made through Conroy Funeral Home’s webpage or GoFundMe. The family is deeply appreciative of any contributions as they navigate their loss.
Closed services will be held for close family and friends to honor Rob’s life and legacy.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Rob’s family as they mourn the loss of a beloved father, grandfather, and friend.
