Rodney Knight, Brazil, IN— Rodney Knight passed away recently after a hard-fought battle with stage 4 esophageal carcinoma. His passing has left his family, particularly his wife, Terri Rodney Knight, heartbroken and in need of support. The fundraiser she organized for his funeral costs has raised $20 out of a $5,000 goal so far, thanks to the first donation from Thomas Payne.
Rodney had been diagnosed around March, and from then on, his health steadily declined as the cancer spread to his lungs, liver, lymph nodes, and bones. Despite undergoing radiation, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy, his condition worsened. Terri, who stood by him through every appointment and treatment, is now emotionally and financially drained, having spent all she could to care for him.
Terri has shared how difficult the past few months have been, losing both Rodney and her mother within a short time frame. She is asking for help to bring Rodney home and give him the proper farewell he deserves.
