Ron was rushed to the hospital on Monday, September 23rd, following sudden respiratory distress, which led to cardiac arrest. After CPR was administered for 15 minutes, his heart was able to start again, but the outcome was devastating. A subsequent CT scan revealed severe brain damage, leaving his family with the heartbreaking decision to remove life support, in line with Ron’s personal wishes.

Ron leaves behind his devoted wife, Gail, to navigate the overwhelming emotional and financial burden of his loss. The two had shared 44 years of marriage, building a life together that is now left in Gail’s hands. To help ease her transition, Ron’s family has organized a fundraiser to support her with medical bills, household expenses, and legal matters.

Autumn Richardson, along with Joshua Richardson, is spearheading the GoFundMe initiative, "Help Gail Ease Into Life After Tragedy."
