Rosanna Marino, affectionately known as Rosy, passed away on Wednesday, September 4th, at 11:00 am. Her passing has left her family and friends heartbroken. Rosanna, born Rosanna Jeznach, was a woman full of love and warmth, well-known for her radiant smile and her ability to bring joy to those around her. She was particularly cherished by her sister, Tina Hill, who fondly remembers her as a constant source of support and happiness throughout their lives.
Rosy’s life was far from traditional, yet she embraced her path with resilience and grace. She raised her daughter Amber Jeznach on her own before marrying David later in life. Known for her cooking, generosity, and kindness, Rosanna was a person whose heart was always open to both people and animals alike. Her family’s journey over the past decade was filled with unimaginable challenges. The mold-infested home they purchased in 2010 set off a devastating chain of events that ultimately led to Rosanna’s declining health and untimely passing at the age of 68. Despite her struggles with numerous health issues, Rosy maintained her vibrant spirit, becoming the matriarch of the family after their parents passed away.
Tina Hill has organized a fundraiser to help cover Rosanna’s funeral and cremation expenses, as well as to support Amber and her children, Noelle and Justin, in finding a safe home—something they have been searching for over the past 15 years. As of today, the fundraiser has raised $50 out of its $8,000 goal.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Marino and Jeznach families during this incredibly difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
