Saiveon Hopkins, Lincoln, NE— Saiveon Hopkins passed away today, September 8, 2024, leaving the community deeply saddened. Known for his caring nature, Saiveon was a beloved father, son, brother, cousin, and friend. His untimely passing has left a void in the hearts of many who knew and loved him.
Saiveon was in Lincoln to celebrate a family birthday and was set to return to his home in Ontario, CA. Tragically, he lost his life while trying to protect a family member. The goal is to raise $25,000 to cover funeral expenses and alleviate some of the financial burden faced by the family. As of now, $75 has been raised through contributions from Tayler Conover Bluford and Taylor Nilsen.
Community members have expressed their condolences and support through heartfelt messages. As noted in a Facebook post by FOTS Families Of The Stolen, “Many prayers be with all who love Mr. Saiveon Hopkins… He will forever be loved & missed by all that love him.” The overwhelming sympathy from the community reflects the profound impact Saiveon had on those around him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Saiveon’s family during this incredibly difficult time. May they find comfort and strength in the loving memories they shared with him.
