Sandra Dee Watson, Charleston, SC— Sandra Dee Watson passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the age of 57. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Sandra was a cornerstone of her family and a beloved member of her community.
Sandra was known for her warm spirit, wit, and incredible sense of humor. Her laughter was described as contagious by those who knew her. Ally Bersamina, a close friend, shared on Facebook, "Ms. Sandy was one of the first to leave an impression on me when I started at Sprinturf. She was feisty, quick-witted, smart, had INCREDIBLE hair, and the best laugh. The office is a little dimmer without her, and while I’m still struggling to comprehend that she won’t be around anymore, I can only hope to always remember the sound of her big laugh to match her big heart."
She is survived by her loving husband, William "Billy" James Watson, Jr., her six children, and numerous grandchildren, siblings, and extended family members. Sandra was born on March 14, 1967, in Charleston, South Carolina, to the late John Henry Jones and Daisy Adell Lupton Jones. Her passion for gardening and her devotion to her family were central to her life, and she was known as the "rock" of her family.
A fundraiser has been organized by Kyle Horne to help with Sandra’s final expenses. As of now, $1,300 has been raised, surpassing the initial goal. The funds will assist with funeral expenses and support the Watson family through this challenging time.
The funeral service for Sandra will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 6:00 pm at J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Watson family during this incredibly difficult time. Sandra’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
