Sandy Wilcott, Holmen, WI— Sandy Wilcott has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love and strength. She was a devoted spouse, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend. Sandy had been fighting a long and difficult battle with dementia for the past seven years. Her journey with the disease, which began with subtle signs such as memory lapses and difficulty finding words, ultimately took a heavy toll on her health and well-being.

As the disease progressed, Sandy’s condition worsened, leading to severe memory loss and other debilitating symptoms. Despite her struggles, she was loved deeply by her family and friends who supported her through this challenging time.

In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a fundraiser to honor Sandy’s memory and to contribute to the fight against dementia. The funds raised will go to the Alzheimer’s Association, specifically benefiting the local branch in Wisconsin, to support ongoing research efforts in the hope of finding a cure.

A generous amount of $250 has already been raised through the efforts of family and friends, including donations from Joe Jansen, Karen Boulette, and Corynn Jansen, all of whom have shown their heartfelt support during this difficult time.
