Scott is survived by his two brothers, Steve and Richard Burton, and his sister, Julie Lewis. He was preceded in death by his mother Sharon Bader and stepfather Manley Bader. The family is now facing unexpected financial burdens, as Scott did not have funeral plans or insurance. His niece, Jennifer Decker, has started a GoFundMe campaign to assist with the cremation costs and other related expenses.
