Vester battled kidney failure for over 30 years. He received one successful transplant and was on dialysis thereafter. His wife and kids supported him, allowing him to live a fulfilled life.
Vester was a skilled carpenter and handyman. He built the Divine Savior Parish in Bansud, Mindoro, Philippines, including the cathedral and bell tower by hand.
After moving to the US, Vester continued his work. He remodeled kitchens and bathrooms and built backyard decks for friends and family. He also loved cheering on Bay Area sports teams.
Vester was an avid WWE fan and rarely missed episodes of The Price is Right, Jeopardy, or Wheel of Fortune. His legacy continues with his wife, kids, and extended family, along with his beloved 2000 Toyota Camry.
On behalf of the Lintag family, Mercedes Jalaan-Arteche is organizing a fundraiser to support Vester’s wife, Josie, and children, Zenamarie and Gilchrist. The goal is to raise $2,500 for funeral and memorial service costs.
