Skylor Micheal White, Butler, PA— Skylor Micheal White, affectionately known as "Sky-Man," passed away on August 28, 2024. Skylor was a beloved 26-year-old with a heart full of love, and his loss has left a deep void in the hearts of his family and friends.
Skylor was diagnosed with Autism as a child, but he never let that define him. More recently, he faced an even greater challenge with a rare, malignant brain tumor called a Germinoma. Despite a valiant two-year battle with his illness, Skylor’s passing was unexpected and has deeply affected those who knew him.
His love for game shows like Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, along with his passion for Marvel and DC comics, particularly Superman and Batman, brought joy to those around him. Family gatherings will never be the same without his infectious laughter and his love for playing "Chase The Ace," a cherished family card game.
A fundraiser has been organized by his cousin, Allyssa Yocum, to assist with funeral expenses and to settle his affairs. As of today, $425 has been raised out of the $5,000 goal, with contributions from generous donors including Alexandra Johnson, Tracy Jeffers, Kelly Brennan, Alyson Wingerson, and Cindy Ehrman.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Skylor Micheal White. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. May his memory be a blessing.
