Sony Pream Hul, Long Beach, CA— It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Sony Pream Hul on Monday, July 29, 2024, at the age of 56. Sony was a loving mother, dedicated sister, aunt, and a great friend to many.
Known for her compassionate heart, hardworking nature, and exceptional home cooking, Sony touched the lives of everyone around her. She was the kindest, most selfless individual who often took care of others before herself. Her giving spirit extended beyond her family to the entire community, making her an irreplaceable presence.
Sony’s passing has left a devastating hole in the hearts of her family and friends. However, they find comfort in knowing she is resting peacefully in the heavens. To honor her memory, a buon will be held on Saturday, August 3, and a funeral service on Friday, August 23.
Her daughter, April Hul, has organized a fundraiser to assist with the financial burden during this difficult time. As of today, $25 has been raised out of the $10,000 goal, thanks to a kind donation from Michael Lara.
Sony is survived by her five children: Ariel, April, Angelina, Allison, and Austin; her siblings: Nath, No, and Sopheap; her father, San; and her partner, Jonathan. The love and support from the community have provided significant comfort and peace to the family. Any financial contributions will greatly help them navigate through this challenging period.
We are deeply saddened to learn of Sony Pream Hul’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.
