Stephanie Chin, Flushing, NY—The community is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Stephanie Chin, a cherished friend, family member, and coworker. Stephanie fought a courageous battle with breast cancer after being diagnosed in March 2023. Despite her relentless determination and the support of those who loved her, she passed away on August 19, 2024.
Stephanie was known for her kindness and selflessness, traits that endeared her to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her loss has left a profound void in the lives of her friends and family, who are now coming together to honor her memory.
A fundraiser has been organized in Stephanie’s memory by her close friends, Gianne Catarata and Geena Yi, to support funeral expenses. The goal is to raise $10,000, and so far, $1,500 has been generously donated by Gianne Catarata and Geena Yi.
Stephanie’s funeral services will be held at Chun Fook Funeral Services in Flushing, NY. The wake and visitation are scheduled for Monday, August 26, 2024, from 3-6 PM. A final visitation and funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 9-10 AM, followed by her burial at Pinelawn Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
