Steven’s family and friends are deeply mourning his untimely departure after a courageous struggle with mental health challenges. His memory is one of resilience, faith, and kindness, and his passing has left a void in the lives of many who were touched by his warmth and generosity.
On Facebook, many shared their grief and memories of Steven. Jay Escobar, who collaborated with Steven musically, expressed his sorrow, writing, "My heart is heavy and hurting. I was blessed to be a collaborator and musical mentor to Steven. I loved him genuinely. I appreciated his voice, mind, and talents. Rest well, brother. I know you are home with our Creator."
