Toby "Ranger" Gutierrez, Rio Rancho, NM— Toby "Ranger" Gutierrez passed away unexpectedly on Veterans Day, 11 November 2024. His death has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew him. Toby, a proud veteran, was known for his service as an Infantry Paratrooper in the U.S. Army, including his time with the 3rd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, and the 82nd Airborne Division.
Beyond his military service, Toby was a key figure in the New Mexico motorcycle community. He founded Rogue Biker, a business that became a staple in Rio Rancho, offering motorcycle and veteran apparel and accessories. Toby’s vibrant presence, warm smile, and dedication to his community were felt far beyond New Mexico. He was also an active member of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA) Chapter 47-2, where he served as Webmaster and Public Affairs Officer.
The CVMA, a non-profit organization focused on supporting veterans, has set up a fundraiser to assist Toby’s family with memorial and living expenses. The fundraiser has already received generous donations, with 100% of the funds going to Toby’s family.
Toby’s untimely passing has deeply affected his family, friends, and the veteran and motorcycle communities. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the causes he supported.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Toby’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
