Todd Faulkner, a compassionate nurse and devoted caregiver, passed away unexpectedly on December 7th, 2020. Todd was in Palm Springs, where he had been working with a client, when he suffered a massive heart attack after sharing a loving moment with his partner. His sudden death at 54 has left a deep void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
Todd faced many challenges in his life, including surviving domestic abuse and spending years in foster care. Despite these hardships, he never let his past weigh him down. He battled addiction and proudly celebrated 27 years of sobriety, using his life experiences to help and care for others as a nurse.
Sadly, Todd did not have a will or designate a beneficiary for his accounts, and his family’s handling of his assets after his passing left many of his final wishes unmet. His partner bore the financial burden of his cremation and final arrangements. A fundraiser has been organized by Michael Thygerson in Seattle, WA, to raise money for Todd’s final wishes and to establish a permanent memorial in his honor. Any remaining funds will be donated to causes close to Todd’s heart, including sepsis awareness and support for those healing from amputation.
The community is encouraged to contribute to this effort and support the creation of a lasting tribute to a man who dedicated his life to the care of others.
We are deeply saddened by Todd Faulkner’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his partner, family, and friends during this difficult time.
