Tony Rouse, Bel Air, MD—Tony Rouse passed away after a prolonged battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), a rare and debilitating neurological disease. Tony’s condition gradually took a toll on him, affecting his movement, speech, thinking, and vision, and ultimately leading to his passing.
Known for being a man of few words, Tony was deeply loved by those who knew him. His strength and resilience during his struggle with PSP touched many hearts. As the disease progressed, it was a devastating experience for his family and friends to witness the person they cherished slowly change.
In memory of Tony, a fundraiser has been organized by Rebecca Tormollan to benefit CurePSP, an organization dedicated to finding treatments and cures for this challenging disease. The campaign has raised $800 so far with contributions from close friends and family, including Doug Rouse and Bill and Nancy Rouse, each donating $100, among others.
Though the disease is not well understood and often misdiagnosed, Tony’s loved ones are hopeful that the funds raised in his honor will contribute to the advancement of PSP research. Tony’s legacy will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Our heartfelt prayers and thoughts go out to Tony’s family during this painful time.
