Tracy Keyes, Newark, OH—Tracy Keyes passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on July 30, 2024. Tracy was a cherished daughter, devoted mother, and loving grandmother who made everyone around her laugh and smile. She was the daughter of Vicki (Dave) Sheets and the mother of Amber Jones, Jalee and Madison Hargis. Tracy was also a grandmother to Owen and Emmett Montgomery, who were the light of her life.
The community is deeply affected by her sudden loss. A fundraiser has been organized by Marcia Gordon to help with funeral costs and final expenses. So far, $530 has been raised out of the $10,000 goal, thanks to the generosity of donors like Judith Sweatland, Heather Pyles, Marcia Gordon, Melanie Rice, and Lindsay Witter.
Tracy’s cousin, Tracy Sheets-Crosby, also set up a Meal Train to support the family during this difficult time. She shared the news on Facebook, expressing her sorrow and encouraging others to contribute directly to avoid unnecessary fees.
Tracy’s love for her family, the beach, the Cleveland Browns, and the Alabama Crimson Tide was well known. Her grandchildren, Owen and Emmett, especially adored her, with Owen calling her "Nanny" and cherishing every moment spent with her.
The funeral services will be held at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home in Newark, OH, with more information to be provided soon.
