Veronica was a beloved wife, mother of five, and grandmother to four. Known for her unwavering love and dedication, she was a hardworking woman who always put her family first.
Diagnosed in April 2024 with stage 4 uterine cancer, which also spread to her lungs and abdomen, Veronica faced a challenging and painful journey. Despite undergoing chemotherapy from April to September, her condition worsened as the treatment became ineffective, and her tumors grew larger. As of now, Veronica is receiving hospice care, and her family is preparing for the inevitable.
In light of her condition, Veronica’s daughter, Edith Arroyo, has started a fundraiser to help cover funeral costs and to honor her mother’s final wishes. The community is rallying around the Arroyo family during this incredibly difficult time.
