Virinder Aujla, also known as Vince, passed away on September 29th, leaving his family and community in deep mourning. A beloved husband, father of three, and a friend to many, Virinder was a man whose vibrant personality and unwavering work ethic left a lasting impact on everyone around him.
At just 17 years old, Virinder immigrated to the United States from India in pursuit of the American dream. Over the years, he worked tirelessly in various industries, often holding multiple jobs simultaneously. His passion for hard work ultimately led him to the home water filtration business, where he rose from a junior technician to the owner and sole operator of the company he had dedicated years of his life to.
Virinder’s efforts provided his family with a stable life, and he was known for his infectious laughter and love of traditional Indian meals. However, in August 2020, he suffered a stroke due to a rare condition called arteriovenous malformation (AVM), which left him paralyzed and bedridden for the last four years of his life. Despite the challenges, his family cherished every moment with him until his peaceful passing, surrounded by his loved ones.
A fundraiser has been organized by Parvez Aujla to help support the family during this difficult time. The donations will assist with funeral costs and a traditional Indian ceremony, as well as support for Virinder’s youngest daughter, who hopes to attend the University of Virginia in 2025.
We offer our deepest condolences to the Aujla family, and our thoughts and prayers are with them during this challenging period.
