Wayne Mannion, a cherished father and husband, passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of December 14th, 2024. The devastating news has left his family and many others in shock.
Wayne had been living with congenital heart failure for years, undergoing multiple surgeries, including a major one to replace his collapsed aorta with a metal implant. Despite these health challenges, he continued to live a life full of love and passion, and tragically, it was during a peaceful moment after a gig that he passed away suddenly. Although efforts were made to revive him, they were unsuccessful.
His daughter, Courtney Mannion, has set up a fundraiser to help with the costs of his final arrangements. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of support, with £245 raised so far out of their target. Courtney, along with her brothers and mother, is heartbroken by this loss, and she shared, "We still can’t believe he has gone, and we’re still unable to even process what has happened."
The community has also expressed their condolences on social media. Kelsey Anne Hannon, who shared a heartfelt post, wrote, "Today I lost the only dad I’ve ever known, and I’m not sure how my heart will ever heal. Wayne Mannion, thank you for being my dad for 25 years, for the life lessons and being there every time I needed you. I will miss you endlessly." Many others, including Lauren Marie and Chantellemarie Goddard, sent their thoughts and prayers to the family during this incredibly difficult time.
Wayne’s memory will live on in his loved ones and those whose lives he touched. His family is committed to honoring him with the best possible send-off, knowing that his legacy will never fade.
We are deeply saddened to learn of Wayne Mannion’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time of loss.
