Wilian Hernandez, Newark, NJ— It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wilian Hernandez. Born on January 21, 1976, Wilian was a beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. His family and friends now face the heartbreaking loss of a truly special individual.
Wilian lived a life marked by medical challenges. He suffered brain damage as an infant, which led to significant developmental delays. Throughout his life, Wilian was affected by epilepsy, but despite these challenges, he remained a loving and joyful presence to those around him. His understanding of the world was innocent and unique, and he touched the lives of everyone he met with his warmth, laughter, and light.
Wilian’s family, especially his parents Clemente Hernandez and Tulia Estevez, devoted much of their lives to caring for him. Now, the community is rallying together to support the family during this difficult time. A fundraiser has been set up to assist with funeral expenses, and donations have already begun to pour in from generous friends and relatives.
Wilian will be remembered for his fun-loving spirit and the joy he brought into the lives of everyone around him. His family, friends, and community will continue to honor his memory with love and affection.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Wilian’s family during this time of loss.
