William Criscola, Longview, WA—William Criscola has sadly passed away after suffering a major stroke and brain bleed on the afternoon of October 1, 2024. His passing comes just days after he fulfilled a longtime dream of starting his own cab company, following more than two decades as a cab driver.
William was found unresponsive in his bedroom by his girlfriend and was immediately transported to Portland hospital, where he was placed in the ICU. Despite efforts to save him, the doctors informed his wife, Sandy, that he had less than a 10% chance of survival. On October 3, 2024, his family made the heartbreaking decision to remove him from life support after no signs of recovery.
William’s death has left his wife, Sandy, and their son in a difficult financial position, struggling to cover medical expenses, funeral costs, and household bills. In light of this, Debbra Walls, a family friend, has organized a fundraiser to support William’s family in their time of need. While no donations have been made as of now, the family hopes for community support as they navigate this challenging period.
The entire Longview community mourns the loss of William Criscola, a man who had just begun to realize his dreams. He will be remembered for his dedication, hard work, and love for his family.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the Criscola family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this painful time.
