Known by many as J.J., Justin, and Will, he was a veteran of the United States Army, a hard worker, and a beloved member of his community. His infectious humor, love for the Lord, and multifaceted skills made him a cherished presence in the lives of his family and friends.
William’s passing has left a significant void in the hearts of his family, including his mother, Judy Ferguson, and his father, Dennis Jackson. He is also survived by his sisters, Barb Jackson and Tara Green, and nieces, Tavin and Niki Jackson, among others. William’s life was tragically cut short after a stroke, and his family continues to honor his memory with a fundraiser initiated by his niece, Tavin Jackson.
The family hopes to raise funds for a marker to be placed at William’s final resting place in Crestwood Cemetery, where he was laid to rest following a funeral service at Flint First Wesleyan Church on May 16, 2022.
