Yuen Hoi Lee, Walnut Creek, CA—It is with deep sorrow and sincere hope that we inform you of the passing of Yuen Hoi Lee on July 29, 2024. He passed away suddenly and peacefully at home, surrounded by his beloved wife, Darlene, without prior hospital stay or significant suffering. Yuen Hoi Lee was 86 years old.
Hoi, a devoted follower of Jesus for the past two decades, has returned home to his Father in heaven. He leaves behind his wife of 54 years, three sons, and eight grandchildren, who will dearly miss his presence and the blessing he was in their lives.
A memorial service to honor Hoi’s life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to Hoi’s longtime church, Contra Costa Gospel Church Inc. in Walnut Creek.
Kevin Lee, one of Yuen Hoi Lee’s sons, has organized a fundraiser titled "Honoring Yuen Hoi Lee: Support His Legacy" to benefit Contra Costa Gospel Church Inc. The goal is set at $2,000, and contributions are welcomed to support the church and continue Hoi’s legacy. As of now, the fundraiser is seeking its first supporter.
