Alisha Shanell Lewis, 35, Tragically Lost After Fatal Shooting in Charlotte, NC

The Charlotte, North Carolina community is mourning the untimely loss of Alisha Shanell Lewis, 35, who was fatally shot in her apartment on Friday, March 27, 2026.

Authorities from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) arrived at the scene in the 3100 block of High Glen Drive shortly before 9:30 a.m. after a concerned neighbor reported signs of a possible shooting. Investigators believe the incident occurred the night before.

Alisha’s passing has left her loved ones devastated. Described as compassionate, vibrant, and deeply connected to her community, Alisha touched many lives with her warmth and kindness. Her sudden and tragic loss has created an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her friends, family, and all who knew her.
