Clarence Leon Miller III, known affectionately as Clay and Guk, tragically passed away on March 21, 2026, after a senseless act of gun violence.
Clarence was a person who brought joy and laughter to all who knew them. Described as kind, funny, loving, and hardworking, Clarence's presence will be deeply missed by family and friends. Their love for life, passion for hobbies, and commitment to their family were defining traits.
In a heartfelt tribute, Clarence’s sister, Shandra Ladd, shared the news on social media, expressing the overwhelming grief the family is experiencing. "Our family is devastated and we are struggling to process this unimaginable loss," Ladd wrote, adding that Clarence was always there for others, particularly when it mattered most.
The family has set up a GoFundMe campaign to help cover funeral and memorial costs, as well as financial support for Clarence's child. They are grateful for the outpouring of support from the community during this difficult time.
