Dean Unsicker Remembered After Peaceful Passing On May 12, 2026, With Celebration Of Life Planned June 6 In Dawsonville
Dean Unsicker passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026, after years with Parkinson's disease and hospice care that began in early January 2026.
Dean leaves a devoted family, including spouse Carol, Michelle Goehner, and grandchildren Selah Grace, age 12, Alaya, age 9, and Sophia, age 7.
A celebration of life will take place on June 6, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Local Church Dawson, 31 Successful Way, Dawsonville, GA 30534.
The family also continues to support Michelle's spouse Jason, age 48, after a 2020 diagnosis of Frontotemporal Degeneration at age 42.
A fundraiser created May 13, 2026, by Nicole M and co-organizers has raised $4,775 of a $28,000 goal through 14 donations.
The family asks for continued prayers, care, and support as they honor Dean's life and prepare for difficult days ahead.
