A tragic accident occurred on the night of March 13th, 2026, when 17-year-old Dylan Sougstad from Cincinnati lost his life in a devastating head-on collision on State Route 741 in Turtlecreek Township, Ohio. The crash took place just before 10 p.m., near milepost 6, on a quiet stretch of the road where families were preparing for the weekend.

Dylan was driving a 2019 Tesla Model 3 southbound when the vehicle drifted left of the center line and collided with a 2020 GMC Terrain driven by 53-year-old Chastity Smith from Trenton. The force of the impact sent both vehicles off the road, scattering wreckage across both shoulders.

One close friend shared, “Dylan had so many dreams ahead of him, and his kindness left a lasting impression on everyone.”
