Eva De Wit-Blades, Beloved Teen Remembered With Love as Community Rallies to Support Family in Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC
Eva De Wit-Blades has died at the age of 15, leaving family, friends, and the Vaudreuil-Dorion community in deep sorrow.
A fundraiser organized by Julie Lirette shared that Eva brought joy, laughter, and warmth to everyone who knew them, and remembered Eva as a bright, loving, and beautiful soul whose smile lit up a room.
The fundraiser described the loss as sudden and heartbreaking and said Eva’s family now faces immense grief while preparing to honor Eva’s life.
Community members have responded with generosity, with 42 donations contributing 7,435 CAD toward a 10,000 CAD goal to help ease funeral expenses and support the family during this painful time.
The message thanked supporters for their kindness, generosity, words, texts, calls, and continued care for Eva’s loved ones.
Memorial and funeral details have not yet been announced, though the family is expected to share obituary and service information soon.
Eva’s memory continues to inspire an outpouring of compassion from those who knew and loved them.
