Jeff Buchbaum Remembered for Service in Special Education, Faith, Family, and Community After Car Accident
Jeff Buchbaum died in a car accident, leaving loved ones, colleagues, students, and community members mourning a devoted and generous life.
Craig Barishman created a fundraiser on May 28, 2026, with Ron Hoffman helping independently of the family to honor Jeff and support the household’s immediate needs.
The fundraiser has raised $1,188 toward a $16,000 goal through 13 donations.
Jeff worked tirelessly in special education and made a lasting impact on every student met through care, patience, and dedication.
Jeff also gave time to religious studies and helped build community at Temple Sinai, where commitment to faith brought people together.
The funds will go directly to Jeff’s spouse and three children for funeral expenses, hospital bills, and other needs.
