Maxwell Henley, 19, Dies in Tragic Motorcycle Crash After High-Speed Pursuit in League City, TX

Maxwell Henley, a 19-year-old from League City, tragically lost his life on March 23, 2026, following a high-speed motorcycle crash. The incident occurred around 3:40 p.m. on West Main Street, shortly after Henley and another rider were spotted racing along FM 518 by local law enforcement.

Witnesses reported seeing the motorcycles speeding at dangerously high rates, and although the police attempted to stop the riders, they quickly called off the pursuit for safety reasons due to hazardous traffic conditions. Unfortunately, mere moments after the pursuit was terminated, Henley’s motorcycle collided with a pickup truck, resulting in fatal injuries.

Emergency crews arrived shortly after the crash and pronounced Henley dead at the scene. The second rider, 22-year-old Carsen Drucker, was apprehended at the location and charged with evading arrest with a vehicle. Authorities also confirmed that Drucker had an outstanding felony warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.
