Michael Robertson And Blake McCray Remembered After 2025 Columbia Mall Case As Court Issues Life Term And 70 Additional Years
Michael Robertson, 16, and Blake McCray, 15, both from Columbia, died after a fatal incident on February 22, 2025, outside The Mall in Columbia.
Howard County officers found the two teens near the parking lot and bus stop area along Little Patuxent Parkway, and both later died from their injuries.
A court sentenced 19-year-old Emmetson Zeah to life in prison without the possibility of parole, plus an additional consecutive 70-year sentence, after proceedings connected to the deaths.
Investigators cited surveillance video, witness testimony, GPS monitoring data, and evidence recovered from Zeah’s residence during the case.
The loss of Michael Robertson and Blake McCray deeply affected their families, friends, and the wider Columbia community.
